Our Founder
Swift was founded by Nick James, a licensed electrician born and raised on the Gold Coast. With a mum who was a nurse and a dad who was a firefighter, keeping people safe has always been part of the family.
Nick completed his electrical apprenticeship with O'Donnell Griffin in 2001, working mainly on Gold Coast high-rise projects. He has since worked in the mines of outback Queensland, in the cold of Canadian ski resorts, in the depths of the London Underground in the UK and on landmark infrastructure projects in New Zealand, before coming home to build Swift.
